We are a year 1/2 class at Hope School in Nelson New Zealand. Our blog is mainly used to help us link to other areas to support our learning. We now share what we are doing in class on Seesaw with our families.

Cedar's Good Apple, Bad Apple Experiment
Good Apple Bad Apple experiment
We got an apple and halved it, then put in two airtight jars and placed in the same environment. We said good positive words to the good apple and negative, angry, deflating words to the bad apple jar.
After 10 or so days you can see that the negative words made the half of the apple rot quicker. Showing that words are very powerful and to be kind to others and yourself. Try this experiment it was quite fun. If you don't like saying bad things to one half, you can always say things like 'your going to rot quicker', 'keep rotting'.
