Learning About Waitangi Day
Our ideas about Waitangi day at the start of the lesson.
We read the book 'The Tree Hut Treaty' and shared our ideas about the treaty. We talked about how it was similar to the Treaty of Waitangi and why the treaties are important.

Room 4 students eager and ready to take on 2019.
We are looking forward to a fun year. A year where we will be focusing on being curious learners and also build an understanding of how we can look after our mind, body and spirit more.

Tennis, Maths and Discovery
Today we had such a fun day. We had Ngaire come and take us for tennis skills.
When then had to solve a maths problem. We had 8 multilink cubes (2 red, 2 yellow, 2 green and 2 blue). We had to fit them together to make a cube so that each colour shows on each face just once. We made lots of mistakes but we didn't give up.
Finally we ended our day with discovery.
