Pool Fun on PhotoPeach
We are a year 1/2 class at Hope School in Nelson New Zealand. Our blog is mainly used to help us link to other areas to support our learning. We now share what we are doing in class on Seesaw with our families.

Measuring Using Different Materials
Today in buddies we had to measure the lengths of a variety of objects. We had to work together and find the best way to measure each object and think carefully about the materials we used. We could use felts, scissors, counters, beads, paint brushes, worms, beans, multi-link cubes or rulers.

Stepping Out
Dean and Ezra added some new moves to our hip hop dance.
This week we also learnt the paso doble. We had to dance with a partner and have strong dance holds.

Measurement
Room 4 have been learning about measurement in class. We have been estimating who is the tallest and the shortest, who has the biggest and smallest hands and who has the biggest and smallest feet. The cardboard copies of our hands, feet and length have been put into a time capsule. We will get the time capsule out at the end of the year and see if we have grown.
