Captain Cashtastic Visits

Captain Cashtastic visited us last Thursday. We identified the different notes and coins we have in NZ and then we learnt about needs and wants. Our needs are FOOD, WATER and SHELTER and wants are things like iPads, bikes and sports gear. By the end of the session we were all super heroes!!!

Our Favourite Time of the Week.

This term our focus in Discovery has been around 'Respecting the Boundaries'. We have been thinking about how we look after the equipment we use and reminding ourselves of the expectations set at the beginning of each session.

We have been learning about repeating patterns in class this week. We went on a pattern hunt around school and then we created our own patterns in class.

Discovery time in the library

Today Room 4 moved into the library while our classroom has a make over. We really enjoyed our discovery session as we had some new spaces to explore and we could get out on the moonhoppers.
