We are a year 1/2 class at Hope School in Nelson New Zealand. Our blog is mainly used to help us link to other areas to support our learning. We now share what we are doing in class on Seesaw with our families.

It is important to make sure you can be seen when you are walking, running or riding around on the streets. We dressed up bright so we could be seen.

Yipee, it is buddy reading time again!
We are extremely excited to be buddy reading again. This gives us a chance to practice our reading skills with our Room 1 buddies. We are focusing on using expression and fluency.

Native Bird Inquiry Unit Research
In Room 4 we have been learning about birds native to NZ. We each chose our own bird to research. We found out lots of different information using a variety of methods including using the internet, library books, discussions with teachers and other adults, and bird information sheets. We then typed up the information and displayed it on a poster to present back to our class.
